Welcome to Manifest! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Manifest platform at https://onmanifest.com and related mobile applications ("Service"). By using Manifest, you agree to these Terms.

About Manifest

Manifest lets you ask your city anything. We connect you with your local community through Mani, our AI assistant, location-based posts, and real-time conversations about what's happening around you.

Account Registration

To use Manifest, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use

When using Manifest, you agree not to:

  • Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Share sexually explicit or violent content
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • Spam, advertise without authorization, or send unsolicited messages
  • Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
  • Share others' personal information without their consent
  • Attempt to access accounts or systems without authorization
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without our permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Manifest. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post and must ensure you have the right to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines.

AI Features and Mani

Manifest includes AI-powered features, including Mani, our AI assistant. When using these features:

  • AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate
  • You should not rely on AI responses for critical decisions
  • Mani provides information based on publicly available content and user posts
  • We are not responsible for actions you take based on AI-generated content

Promoted Posts and Payments

Manifest offers post promotion to increase your visibility in your local area. Paid promotion ("Boost Your Post") starts at $25/week and is processed via Stripe. You can cancel anytime — no contracts. Referral-based first-post boosts may be granted as a separate, intentional free perk.

Location Services

Manifest uses your location to connect you with nearby content and users. By enabling location services, you consent to us collecting and using your location data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disable location sharing in your device settings, but this may limit some features.

SMS Communications

If you opt in to SMS notifications, you agree to receive text messages from Manifest, including account verification, notifications, and messages from Mani. Standard messaging rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

Intellectual Property

Manifest and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Manifest and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

Disclaimers

Manifest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for:

  • Content posted by users
  • Actions or conduct of other users
  • Accuracy of AI-generated content
  • Third-party services linked to or integrated with Manifest

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manifest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of Manifest after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
