Adams Morgan Day Festival Returns September 14 With Expanded Music Lineup

Adams Morgan Day, the neighborhood's signature free street festival, returns September 14 with its biggest music lineup yet. Organizers announced 28 acts across four stages along 18th Street and Columbia Road, headlined by D.C. go-go legends Rare Essence and rising indie band Bartees Strange.The festival, now in its 47th year, will also feature a new "Taste of Adams Morgan" food court with 22 restaurants offering $5 sample plates, a kids' zone in the Marie Reed fields, and a maker's market showcasing local artisans."Adams Morgan Day is the most authentically D.C. event on the calendar," said festival chair Monica Reyes. "It's the one day a year where the whole city comes to our neighborhood."
